BILIRUBIN (az lot. bilis – talkha va ruber – surkh), pigmenti asosii talkha; mahsuli nihoii tajziyai gemoglobin va dig. hosilahoi porfirinho. B. dar natijai silsilai tabaddulotii zayl ba vujud meoyad: gemoglobin → verdoglobin (kholeslobin) → biliverdin → bilirubin. B. ba jigar guzashta, zeri tasiri kislotai glyukuronat konyugat hosil mekunad va hamin tavr, ba B.-i dar ob halshavanda tabdil meyobad. B.-e, ki konyugatsiya nashudaast, dar mavridi tadqiqi biokhimiyavi oshkor nameshavad. Binobar in onro B.-i gayrimustaqim menomand. Baroi oshkor sokhtani konsentratsiyai chunin B. avval onro ba shakli dar ob halshavanda (B.-i mustaqim) tabdil medihand. B. hamrohi talkha ba ruda meguzarad va zeri tasiri mikroflorai on ba sterkobilin va urobilin tabdil meyobad.
Taqriban 70%-i B. dar natijai tajziyai fiziologii eritrositho hosil meshavad; dar 100 ml zardobi khun 0,5 – 1,2 mg (8,5 – 21 mkmol/l) B. mavjud ast, ki seyaki onro B.-i gayrimustaqim tashkil mekunad.
